I think it's an interesting psychological study into what can make man go over the edge and turn their life into an irreversible mess. And there is so much variety in a lot of cases that I don't think it's worth ignoring them. Agreed. The Night Stalker Netflix doc was a letdown because they try to avoid "glorifying" Ramirez, but the truth is the guy had such a bizarre upbringing, and was such a strange person in general that it could have been a great way to learn about people like him.
