Topic	What are some obscure/cult franchises that became 'big' after a long time?

Like with a lot of breakout hits, people just play the new one, but with Trails there are more people playing 7+ games in the series. A lot of it is really just me seeing a bunch of playthrough topics here on B8, and elsewhere on GameFAQs.
