The original design for Sonic, however, did thoroughly demonstrate Hollywood's tendency to say "we know better what fans of your IP want to see than you do" and make completely ridiculous changes as a result. A jaded part of me wonders if they don't do stuff like that as a PR stunt because they know that any design will struggle to get over with fans so they pitch a really awful one at first for people to complain about and then make a more tolerable version. --- (\/)(\/)|-| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. ...
