Porn is certainly a factor, but the inability to interact with other humans as a whole is a much bigger issue. It's why we're seeing so many people who just want to avoid having to ever talk to other people in the course of their life (ordering kiosks, self-checkouts, delivery, work-from-home, etc). Most of our modern push towards convenience goes hand-in-hand with isolating ourselves from almost anyone we might ever socialize with. The growth of parasocial relationships online doesn't really help either. People who feel like the people they're watching on Twitch or YouTube are their best friends aren't really going to know how to make friends or interact with potential love interests in the real world. We might be heading for a future where the only way anyone ever dates or gets laid is by signing up for stuff like eHarmony or Tinder, letting computers match us up with other people because we've forgotten how to do it ourselves. --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ...
