So the newest sign up bonus for the Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card is $1,000 cash back if you spend 4,000 in 3 months. Talked to my mom about it, seeing if we can spend that much in 3 months without spending money on stuff we wouldn't have anyways, and we just found out our refrigerator shit the bed, so that makes this choice easy, as that'll be 1-2 grand minimum spend on this card in one go.
