so the age group that we should be concerned about protecting is 0-17, who, statistically are more likely to die from the regular flu than from covid. If we havent deemed the flu a public health crisis over the years, then how is where were at among that age group with covid a crisis?

The more people covid infects, the more chance covid has a chance to mutate
The more times covid mutates, the more chances it has to mutate into something that the current vaccines can't fight

Not to mention the hospitalizations and possible long term symptoms from covid. Death isn't the only concern.
And covid is deadlier than the flu int hat age group, too.

I really don't know where people get this "covid is less deadly than the flu" bullshit from. I could maybe see that argument when we had like 15 cases, but now it's really a stupid point to make.
