...Donald Trump, the then-leader of the party, literally authorized Operation Warpspeed to fast-track a vaccine. If anybody has flipped to be vaccine-friendly, it's Biden and Shamala Harris who went from saying "Well, we won't trust a vaccine that's rushed out that fast!" in some of the debates simply because they didn't want to give kudos to Trump (only backtracking to say, "Well, we'll listen to the medical professionals" and trying to weasel out of the moderators pinning them to the wall) to pushing the vaccine.

That is not even right. Trump flip-flopped nigh hourly on whether to trust vaccines at all or to go for a vaccine, any vaccine, even if it's untested; depending on whom he was talking to for political and sales pitch reasons. Biden and Kamala said we need to test the vaccines first and get them distributed as soon as we're able, except then a company in Germany got the first test-approved vaccine ready and that's one of the three or four Biden/Kamala pushed for everyone to use.

And since then the side of Trump's followers who believe that the pandemic is a hoax and that the vaccine is every combination of fake, dangerous, and a hoax are happy that "The libs" didn't get the numbers they wanted all because they refused to have a shot and be sort-of sick for a day in exchange for high resistance to an actual virus. The other side of Trump's followers? They're also happy that some of "The libs" (read: everyone else in an "us vs them" mentality) are unhappy . . . because of said mindset. Some will even spread misinformation about details surrounding the vaccines, their development, or who pushed for what and why.
