Topic	Would I enjoy Masters of the Universe if I never watched He Man?

Like I started it and they showed He Man, this green tiger monster, some wizard, and like a guy with a weird hat. Are they like powerful guardians like He Man? I'm pretty sure most episodes ended with He-Man saving the day while his pals made a token effort.
