I spent about two years staring at a lower and lower account balance, bagholding a triple-leverage natural gas ETN (UGAZ) until it miraculously jumped back up above my buy-in price so I could thankfully sell out of the position and then went delisted. Granted, that was triple-leveraged, so maybe the long hold will work better with your stocks. Still, very long-term holds will prevent you from using that money on better opportunities and I ended up wasting those two years on overall modest gains. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
