Hey to be real though, start by setting yourself a small, achievable goal.

"I'm going to go on a 10 minute walk every day this week. Then next week I'll go on an 11 minute walk"

Being active just a little bit each day can help an obese person kickstart weight loss, and really improves health outcomes. Big problem is a lot of people bite off way more than they can chew and end up hurting themselves or burning out due to stress. Do a little thing, consistently. And add a little more to it every week.

That's going to build a habit you can add to and after a while, wow, you have an exercise routine! And that will really help.

As for food, man...if I ever get my own healthy relationship with food I'll let you know how I figured it out. For now I just exercise to atone for the horrible trash I routinely throw into my body.
