Topic	Death Note is getting kind of dumb. Does ot have a good ending? spoilers

L and Mello/Near each take about half the manga, but L was so popular that when they adapted the anime they put all the focus there, giving the L arc about twice as much time as the Mello/Near arc. So it is pretty convoluted, and hard to care about the characters as much.
