| Snake5555555555 08/06/21 3:03:45 PM #31: | It's very easily the worst mainline entry. It still blows some of the terrible spin-offs out of the water though. I used to hate it too, playing it would actually make me sick due to the terrible camera mixed with the chaotic action. I reevaluated it some years later with the improved camera, and actually found it pretty fun! The combat actually has a ton of depth to it which especially comes out in Mercs. Quickshooting, sprinting into a slide then reversing it, all the crazy melee moves with everyone having their own unique moveset, dual-wielding, damn it's like they made a character action game out of RE, coming full circle with DMC. I totally get why people hate it, there are truly terrible elements like all the vehicle segments, QTEs, tedious boss fights, but I do see a lot of the game's positives now more than I used to. --- I've decided to put my fears behind me.
