I'm only a janitor, but I've seen some really heartbreaking shit during this pandemic when people are denyed beds/space because a covid patient is taking up said resources. Granted, some of those patients deserve the best care they can get because they followed the rules and got screwed through no volition of their own, but I can't help but wonder how many humans clogging up the emerg/ICU wards are there because they didn't listen, or just didn't give a fuck. --- I wrote a horror short story collection.
