It's fun how the show actually avoids a lot of tropes even though it's light hearted and making fun of itself. Main guy actually can tell when other people like him even if he is dumb as rocks. I_Abibde posted... I play the SAO games and pretend Kirito does not exist. It helps. To be honest I don't feel like kirito is all that bad. For an "OP" protagonist, he loses an awful lot throughout the series. The problems with the latest arc had only a little to do with him.
