I actually like it quite a lot, there are a lot of good things about it, like the presentation, having Maya back as an assistant, the character designs, and some of the cases were surprisingly meaty. Though the puzzles on Layton's side were simpler than ones in a typical Layton game I feel like. And the twist is...very Layton-like.
