If I'm watching a thriller and the killer is spoiled, then I'm gonna hyperfocus on that specific character and pick up on hints that I might have missed on an unspoiled first watch. It takes me out of the movie a bit. But I can still enjoy a story even if it's spoiled for me I do that same. But I still like to watch it unspoiled once.
