Galindo never responded to the lawsuit and gave Rawls the default judgement.

They can probably appeal it, and they'll likely have to since there's no way the restaurant has that much money in the first place.

Since apparently this dude not only successfully blamed the bar for his actions, but didn't go to jail for assault and battery, alcohol consumption also absolves you of guilt for committing some felonies.

It doesn't specify the outcome of that case, but he's already had a history of doing time for alcohol-related stunts.

Keep in mind that there's significance time between the arrest and when something goes to trial, particularly now.
