They mentally don't live in the same reality, just some fantasy where their feelings are manifested into worldviews. Canada has an election coming up. A complaint I hear from a lot of conservatives is that Trudeau is giving all our taxpayer money away through CERB to people that won't get a job. CERB ended nearly a fucking year ago. The Conservative Party of Canada voted to recognize climate change as being fake news. The antivax movement is currently almost exclusively conservative.
