seems i have to educate people on how for things like this don't have paid breaks, too

every work day has a 2 hour max break time spread out in 15 minute, or even 30 minute blocks.

they are not paid breaks. because if they were paid, then you would be going into overtime. which nabisco wants to eliminate.

so.

2 times 4 is 8.

48 minus 8 is 40

holy shit look at that your hours worked are 40.

and since federal rules state that breaks less than 20 minutes must be paid, they aren't getting 15 minute breaks, likely 20-30 minute ones.

and if one of their plants is in a state that has no state-level break requirements, then, it defaults to federal rules. which also...don't actually make breaks required. just that if there are breaks, then anything 15 minutes or less have to be paid.
