I usually cheer on NIU despite them generally stinking up the place since I lived in the area years ago and my daughter planned to attend (it never happened but that doesn't mean that I can't cheer for NIU). NIU, University of Minnesota (raised there) and Purdue, since my husband's a former Purdue alumni (does alumni apply to former students?).
