I wound up loving it. Every Detroiter i met was super nice. It gets a bad rap when its nowhere near as bad as people make it seem. I imagine Chicago is the same way.

The one that trivializes the murders of hundreds of people a year because of "well, the other million people didn't die!". Detroit is top 3 per capita damn near every year since what? The 1970s?

I'd question the motives of anyone who got defensive that I mentioned the FACT Chicago led the country in ACTUAL murders and not per capita.

Whats the matter? Those HUNDREDS of minorities murdered don't matter because their city is big?
