Preposterous! Next you'll be proclaiming that The Hunchback of Notre Dame is based on the novel by Victor Hugo, delving into themes of classism and xenophobia. In addition to how figures who declared themselves most righteous stewards of decency, order and god can in fact be monstrous figures masking their corruption, cruelty and horrible acts by doing so in the name of justice and using that justification to absolve himself from punishment when they give into the few things that they declare sinful.

That or the more child friendly message of not judging a book by its cover.
