Yup, any reasonable person when laid off would have been looking for a new job. People had plenty of time to do that. I know at least 3 people who got laid off when covid started. It was devastating because they needed the benefits for their kids. These are average earning workers with a bachelors degree. They aggressively looked for jobs and got them.
