He did such an awesome job of creating this system of Nen and how they all work in tune with your body and manipulating energy to just be "LOL MAGIC!" Don't worry about me, I think I just hate how much better in my mind it could have been with it not being just a catch-all for whatever he wants to do. It's an issue I have with a lot of Shonen. Ehh, from the beginning IIRC the first ever named Nen ability is literally Emperor Time which lets Kurapika use every category at mastery level. The categories are a lot less important than the concept of contracts and sacrifice/restriction to enable powers.
