About the only improvement I'd wish for in the clothes I exercise in is a more durable crotch. I've worn holes in the crotches of pretty much every pair of jeans I've ever retired because I bike in them so frequently. Of course, I could get that by biking in pretty much anything but jeans, so that's not exactly a tall order and I really only have myself to blame for that being a chronic problem.

That said, for people that do a lot of yoga et al, I can see the appeal of something that stretches more comfortably. A decent sports bra is also pretty much a must for people that have to worry about their boobs flopping all over the place. There's a legitimate market for exercise clothes, even relatively expensive ones (my understanding is that their quality has fallen off quite dramatically in recent years, but Lululemon stuff used to be exceptionally comfortable, to the point of actually justifying their price tag), it's just not going to necessarily include every exercise activity.
