TopicAnyone else feel like the act of murder is weirdly romanticized?

It really is sometimes + the level of disregard for the victim as stated... sometimes.

I recall some criminal justice show that was airing on regular TV (this was a fictional setting) and they kind of just plastered this crime scene photo of dead gang members slumped over on a car / on the ground with visible fatal gunshot wounds (like pieces of their head missing or bullet holes) and I wasn't really comfortable with the fact they kind of just splash that on TV from a NSFtame perspective

For movies/tv, I have to kind of get into the story more than something just dangling murder in front of me like some kind of cat toy like "oooh murder" since that's kind of a creepy angle

Video games? Well, I mean, come on. A lot of them are already combat/murder simulators.
