luigi13579 09/22/21 8:22:10 AM #4:	I may not get all details right, but this is my understanding: Shin Megami Tensei (sometimes the franchise is collectively called Megami Tensei / Mega-Ten) is (primarily) a series of JRPG dungeon crawlers. There are a number of spin-offs, including Persona (a more linear, story-focused JRPG series, where you live the day-to-day life of a teenager while "saving the world"), Digital Devil Saga (more traditional JRPGs), Devil Survivor (strategy RPGs like Fire Emblem), etc. Persona itself has fighting and rhythm game spin-offs.
