I mean this just sounds like you went into it thinking "I'm not going to like it" so I mean... yeah of course you're not going to like it if you aren't even going to give it a shot BEFORE you try it.

And also the first and last things are definitively not true (you can play with your friends in the free trial and the game constantly guides you on where to go) + you can customize the UI to declutter it if you find it cluttered by literally dragging and dropping things.

I'm not gonna say you're wrong for not being into the game, but it does sound like you didn't even want to give it a fair shot, which isn't really 'trying it' imo.
