Isn't it normal to feel a bit crappy after getting the shot?

It really varies from person to person. Some people will have a sore arm or have a slight fever or achyness while their immune system responds to the vaccine, normally doesnt last longer than a day. Some people dont suffer adverse effects at all and then there are rare cases of people having allergic reactions. Those can be life threatening sometimes so its nothing to dismiss but any place that gives vaccines are required to know how to respond if that does happen.

A lot of people claim they got the flu after getting the shot but theres no evidence that you can contract the flu that way. What is more likely is that people who say that are already reluctant to get the shot so the few times that they do get it, its pretty late into flu season and theyve already contracted the virus but arent feeling the symptoms yet.
