Its kinda funny that Bat Out of Hell and Doolittle had pretty much opposite spectrums of voters Chances are that I would hate Doolittle then, seeing as I enjoy the heck out of all four Bat Out of Hell albums (the fourth being "unofficial" because of record label shit but still). Jim Steinman was a genius (RIP) and Meat Loaf was the perfect person to belt out his songs. I can understand why some people wouldn't like it since it all comes down to taste, but it's fun, angsty, and epic all at once, complete with a brilliant operatic feel. I'd think people who don't like the Bats take music more seriously than they need to tbh.
