Good point. I'm reading a series of fantasy novels where the world ends in a pagan apocalypse. Nearly every pagan god from history turns out to be real and returns to the mortal world. Only religions that apparently false is Christianity and Islam. (Old Testament Jewish god apparently is around)

The old gods are pissed at Christians and Muslims

First book is called The Glooming for anyone interested. It's pretty cool. Book goes all over the planet. Shit is happening in every nation on earth
