haha nfun dodesn't like the words ; this is more appealing to me when it has the words for sure, though no version of this would win my vote over confronter, but still amazing "Sega" soujnding music with pso notes and sounsd that make me so happy : ) the just-barely-not-dissonant feel of like 1:40 is so good with this energetic funky jam hole with the city brass men in the trumpet. very inspirational. it tricks me into thinking i want to be hideki naganuma until i remember that people who like hideki naganuma probably think the metroid dread ost is boring

i love how confronter goes [9/16, 9/16, 9/16, 5/8, 9/16, 9/16, 9/16, 3/4]x2, 16 bars of 3/4, 4/4, 4/4, 6/4, 4/4, 4/4, 4/4, 4/4, 3/4, [11/16, 11/16, 4/4]x4, 12 bars of 4/4, 5/4, 5/4, 6/8, 6/8, 6/4, 16 bars of 4/4 and i'm only just now realizing how much this sounds like a lot of my favorite metroid dread boss themes haha (i have been listening to almost nothing but metroid dread ost over and over again for the past many days) but like seriously instead of the Hiromi or Tigran comparisons i could make, i actually wanna compare this to minako hamano lol, ironically at the less mixed meter parts---those long held out unresolving dissonant chords, that's what does it, feels like the Scary super metroid song

for some reason DINATIS CAOCITAL always feels like it's a joke becausae it is so much like fancy european non-english-language restaraunt and it is the same feeling as silph co where i can't take it seriously despite how dark it is because i am imagining a waiter on checkerboard tiles falling over . the dive into jazz zone is so funny the drums are so goal and amplify my image of the restaraunt cartoon rube goldberg slip in the banana peel and they have to catch all of the meat balls in their plate so the fancy food doesn't fall on the floor even moreWHY is it now phantom of the opera

transposing sus chords and yeah ep6 is the best sonic forces ost of all time still. oh my good i forgot how much i love stuttery drums like the big moment in the beginning of goldenslaughterer. oh myan the late parts of this feel like minako hamano again except the sonic forces version. i think the style Mitsuharu Fukuyama went for specifically on ep6 wound up feeling like the most natural of any of the composer's jumps to that style. i think all the others i like better in previous episodes but fukuyama feels like something about this sound realm was his "Home"and he knew how to make it work well for what his notes sound like
