People wear dark color clothes at night to conceal themselves better. This goes back to before there were different races, it goes back to when Man harnessed fire. Fire, the light, kept predators away, provided warmth and protection. It also cast dark shadows, made the night seem darker and highlighted predators eyes in the blackness. This is the original reason all things light are considered good, and dark is considered bad.
