I did a 3 (setting, not sure how it correlates to time or temperature) and it was obviously still frozen so I did a 2 and removed one. It was very definitely frozen in the middle, but I already had ketchup on it so I microwaved it for 30 secs Hey... don't microwave hashbrowns! It breaks up whatever is holding them together so you just get a pile of diced potatoes in your microwave. Put the toaster for another 3. The hashbrown was nice and crispy. The middle wasn't frozen but it was lukewarm, which feels cold compared to the hot outside. ... If I do it again I'll have to tweak the settings, like first a 5 to toast and then the warming setting for some amount of time --- "Salt cures Everything!"
