I know that some don't have good relationships with your parents.. But

ya'll need to talk to your parents every week and visit them as often as you can if they have been decent to you.

You never know when they will be gone. My life was turned upside down when my dad was diagnosed with cancer. It's still hard to believe. He only lived 11 months since diagnosis. I think it started at least a year before be was diagnosed. He was complaining of memory problems. We thought it was just old age and it wasn't consistent, his mind was sharp before.
My family went through so much to take care of him. To watch him lose his mind, havforget all the memories he had and how to comprehend things.. Watch him experience delirium through it all wanting to die from the chemo and his quality of life slipping by him.. and in the end he knew he was dying. He knew that much. It was so painful. I don't wish cancer on anybody. I wish I spent more time with him. I wish I could go back in time earlier before he got diagnosed to take it out before. But he's gone and be isn't coming back. No one comes back. All you have to hold are memories.

All the people you know in your life who have treated you right... Call them, hold them close and spend time with them. And just be aware if you or something with your loved ones doesn't feel right. Take care of your physical and mental health.
