Hard disagree, this is entirely up to an individual. it's not really, the act of sex in itself is just something humans do and have always done. societies have created a bunch of rituals around it that make it seem like a big thing but it's just a thing you do that sometimes makes babies. and yeah everyone has their own baggage and hangups and bad previous experiences which complicates things, which is part of the point i was making. i can definitely understand considering it a formative experience though because that's kind of what our society presents it as. basically there's nothing wrong with wanting it or not wanting it either Cruddy_horse posted... This is the reason I find it gross, how people are so casual about it. i guess i don't know what you mean by casual. you don't have to be into hookups or casual sex but they are not inherently gross or bad either. i think you should probably examine your relationship with sexuality (and that's not a dig, everyone should do that) --- despair-inducing | she/her ...
