Topic	Squid Game kinda wrote itself into a corner by killing off... spoilers

Brother/Frontman when arriving at the island told the soldiers to capture the cop alive. Also shot the cop in the shoulder so not fatal at all. And you don't even see his body afterwards. And it's not like he fell into rocks. Not to mention that the Front Man cared enough about his brother to donate a kidney to him.
