I can fault her, easily. It's a choice, to just target someone out of the blue. It wasn't like I was responding to her directly, she legitimately just jumped into dogpile. I thought I was cool with her, because we were talking guinea pigs or whatever(or was it hamsters? I have had both), then I was absolutely frustrated. Shock, Cyric, gunpla, and Calypso is kinda fucking hard to get a word in edgewise against when they're just finding ways to either directly call you a bigot(gunpla), or insinuate such.

She could have easily had a friend in me. I'm generally a friendly guy. I try to be nice, I really do. It's how I treat IRL too. But shit, man, I didn't even have a chance to do so before the insults were flying. And yes, I consider being called a bigot and transphobe to be an insult.

Calypso is ruining any chance she can have to have friends by lashing out at everyone before they even have a chance to be friendly. When you're immediately going to the worst case scenario with everyone, even new users, just because your 'friends' are doing it, the fuck do you expect? Ffs man.

You've got it all wrong with the grouping and hivemind conspiracy theory stuff though. "just because your 'friends' are doing it... What is that? Why did you just jump to that? I guarantee you that jumping to worst case scenario (and yes, she does do this. You are not wrong about that) because of other people doing it? An overwhelming majority of her hostility stems from what people say to and about her directly. It has nothing to do with what 3 other people do. Again, her responses are like my response to you the first time I saw you and you started talking shit with no information.

I don't know about whatever the incident was that you're referring to exactly when you mention a specific dogpile, but it seems to me like the only one you're straight up saying called you a big was gunpla, so if that's what I'm thinking of, yeah, gunpla was already in aggression mode at that point and in that topic, she went too far. I always conceded that. It doesn't sound like you are accusing Calypso of being inflammatory like that too, so why the issue with her? I don't remember her being that way in that topic, or cyric for that matter, just defending gunpla on the initial comments she made and how the situation devolved, as I was doing. As for shock, who you also mentioned... he's a bit of a mixed bag and I am at odds with him a fair amount of the time myself.

Just corralling them all together like that doesn't make sense to me, unless this was a more recent dogpiling that I didn't see.... but how would you expect her to be after what happened in the previous one(s)? You don't seem like a bad dude at all. You just have a bad way of approaching people at certain times. Your approach to me was fucking godawful and that's why I went at you the way I did, especially since you were acting like you knew me and/or whatever you were talking about. Completely fucking out of line :P. I like to think we have a bit better of an understanding now. I see a lot and I remember a lot (contrary to laughable lies that get spread about me not remembering things), and I welcome change of opinion on people that I've had issues in the past, instead of just death gripping a hate boner...

I just understand her hesitation to give people the benefit of the doubt and she's not wrong for it. I know of instances when she has had people who she doesn't like and who haven't liked her and then things turned around and they get along fine, so it's not valid to argue that she is incapable or unwilling to do that. If you care enough to try and be her friend, there are ways of going about it that can work. That's all I'm saying. I have no investment. I just want it to be clear that it is entirely possible and is so for anyone, with anyone. Most people don't want that though. They just want to see this shit continue indefinitely. It's why old bullshit gets dug back up constantly. It's why people try to drag drama-causers back into discords they left (and in my case, oh yes I was indeed all about causing drama. That was the point at first and I let it get way too out of control). The point is that the conflict is exactly what certain people want and thrive on. I was the same way for years and got progressively worse about it, though for me it wasn't about perpetuating conflict with others but fighting with people myself. I got sick of it.
