Yeah but the people complaining about it dont have a leg to stand on mostly.
Theres something to say about classic courtship & male/female values (across all cultures) but more importantly.... Womens rights and how these old films cross the line, and how we can use that to recognize social injustices being committed today. They say hindsight is 20/20 for reason.
Maybe this new era of Hollywood combined with his Social Media generation is churning out these complaints? Because while of course there is a *point* (they stopped making movies like that.........) (duh) James Bond was pretty tame for its day. No? Pretty typical too. I think it also had a lot of strong females. But yeah. This got left behind in 80s man.
Strong females such as Honey "TIRE TRACKS ARE DRAGONS" Ryder or Mary "WHOOPS MY BUTT LAUNCHED A MISSILE" Goodnight?
