Also I object to the premise that certain genres cannot use specific types or music. If a medieval-influenced swords-and-sorcery series wanted to use rap or hip-hop or death metal or grunge or whatever, then they certainly can and to claim otherwise is needlessly exclusionary if not full-blown discrimination.

Now do I think that it would be appropriate for this specific series, no. But only because it has already established its musical stylings. But the idea that rap is out of place in this genre is just gatekeeping.

Full blown discrimination is a hell of a jump but yeah what I meant is that imo it doesnt for the Witcher /dark medieval fantasy.
