Only problem is they didn't even call or inform us when that happened, and the psych ward doesn't allow visitors so we didn't even get to see him. Yesterday's visit to the ER might be the last time we get to see him for a long while. And honestly I'm not sure being in the psych ward will actually help. Last time this happened the ward was still accepting visitors, and the ward was depressing as fuck. They basically only check in with the patient for routine vitals and meds, and basically just leave them to roam around for themselves. And I think we can all agree that the level of mental health care in the US is shockingly low. At least last time we could still check on him and tell him we were there.
