Topic	Is The Legend of Zelda an "RPG franchise"?

Basically, the playable characters have numerically denoted traits (Vitality, strength, stamina) that can be incrementally increased by defeating enemies or completing quests. To that end, I'd say Zelda isn't an RPG series, though certain entries - namely Zelda II - clearly are, and others are close enough that they could be arguable.
