The argument here should be that the ultra rich should be taxed at a higher rate. Increase capital gains taxes over a certain threshold, increase taxes on luxory goods, increase income taxes over a certain threshold. I don't understand how people think taxing unrealized gains makes any sense. --- Props to azuarc, the current Guru of the Decade.
