When that happens, people in the middle of the dense crowd are essentially inside a compactor made of people. Youre being smushed so badly that you literally dont have enough room for your lungs to expand for breath. Also, some people are stampeded in the event, either from just falling or after passing out from the crush. Wow how did this happen?
