Stuffing (not cornbread) isn't an option on the poll, though (unless you vote Other).

Stuffing (not cornbread) is pretty much my favorite Thanksgiving side (it's actually one of the two secret recipes passed down through my family), but I couldn't vote for it (so I voted for cranberry sauce instead).

But if I'm going to be honest, I've never seen/known anyone who served the majority of options on the poll. So I'm assuming it's a regional thing from a region I never go to. About the only things on there I've ever seen served as sides for Thanksgiving were cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes. So mashed potatoes might be winning simply by virtue of being something everybody serves, not just something you only see in the South, or the Midwest, or a specific family/town/etc.
