No_U_L7 11/18/21 4:14:52 PM #28: | i make way more than that in just 2 years, but the after tax part can make it tempting. work likes me so i can just apply back again after 4 years. oddly enough, the real difference is whether i would qualify for medicare. i'm technically quitting, but if i have to pay for my own health insurance that takes it down from about 4k to only 3k in your pocket monthly. 4k i can barely do, 3k is less than mortgage+HOA+expenses if i did it, i would take the money, which is barely enough to keep me at maintenance and use my current savings to travel. then apply back to my same job after 4 years and they'll def take me. all i'd lose out on is some savings and retirement --- ...
