He wasn't killed because he wasn't acting in an aggressive manner. And ultimately, he wasn't killed because he defended himself against people attacking him. Ok, now explain why some people are killed despite doing those same things, and why the same media outlets and politicians celebrating this victory of justice will actively fight against it when it doesn't play well with their audience. Seems like justice isn't very important to them.
