The plot itself is really exciting, and there's a stretch from the end of disk 1 until partway into disk 3 where it feels like the game just doesn't let up at all. The character writing is great and I especially love the parallels between Zidane/Vivi/Kuja, though Dagger's arc is also great, among other things. The game also has a lot of charm in it's presentation.
