Alright, really hot take here, but:

Spectre was terrific IMO. Id put it as the #2 of the Craigs behind Casino Royale. I loved it. Writing On The Wall, also a great Bond theme. Felt epic.

Anyways, of that list it's TWINE. Despite a fantastic opening 20 minutes or more, it sinks into a really tedious and boring plot about oil pipelines. Snore.

Renard was a great idea in concept in not feeling pain, but he's completely wasted and then overshadowed by Elektra.

M getting kidnapped, was so, SO, SO stupid. I absolutely hated that storyline. Even before that happening she was weak, whiny, emotional and i hated it. In the other movies she's a cold as ice, don't fuck with me type of character, here she's as strong as a wet paper bag. Hated it. Her getting kidnapped was completely and utterly unecessary and served nothing to the plot other than the homing beacon leading Bond to the island which couldve been handled differently.

And Christmas fucking Jones folks, need I say more?

And Valentin, why did they need to being him back? He was likeable in Goldeneye, here he's way overused, not funny at all, and i didnt care when he died.

People piss all over Die Another Day, but I liked it too. I'll even go far as to say it's got a WAY better villain, henchman, plot, theme (you heard me), than TWINE. I'll even go as far as to say its a great movie........until it moves to Iceland. Then it nosedives obviously, but not enough to take away my enjoyment of it as a whole.

And yes, Quantum is a mess, and fuck Marc Forster for those bullshit super-quick-cut action scenes, but even then i still enjoyed it more than TWINE.
