For a breast pump, my wife's doctor wrote her a prescription for one and we were able to get it entirely paid for by insurance, so you might want to look into that.

Careful getting shoes for babies or toddlers, if they can't splay their toes they'll end up with bunions and hammer toes

Happens to adults too and people just say "eh I was just born with bad feet". No... we wear weird foot bindings instruments. Took me a couple years to fix my painful feet
We don't intend to ever really put shoes on the baby except for outings, which I don't foresee us doing a whole lot in the first 3 months. The one pair of shoes cost $1.50, so... not really a huge loss if we don't use it lol
